Visitors Marrying in Sydney – Marrying Overseas

It is a great pleasure for me to assist visitors to this beautiful city realise their dream of a Sydney wedding.  I have married couples from England, the United States, Denmark, Germany, Italy and Serbia. Often they have met here and are returning to where it all began, sometimes with their children.
I can also help with ceremony location, flowers, cake and champagne.
Contact me and I will email the necessary form.
On receipt of your paperwork I will mail you my ceremony planner book and work with you via email to create your personal ceremony.

What do I need to know?

It is not difficult to marry in Australia provided you have all the correct paperwork

♥ You must be over 18 years of age.
♥ There is no residency requirement for marriage in Australia BUT there is a requirement that sufficient notice be given. The minimum notice for intended marriage is ONE CALENDAR MONTH.
This is done on the Notice of Intended Marriage form which I will email to you. The time starts from when the completed form is in my hands.
When emailing the form I will include instructions on how to complete it and return it to me.

“We would never have believed how easy it was to organise via the internet and absolutely stress-free thanks to you. your kindness was very much appreciated, you made us feel very welcome and at ease, nothing was too much trouble. We could not have asked for a more perfect day.”

♥ You will need your passport or birth certificate from your birth country
♥ If you have been married before you will need your original divorce papers or, sadly, death certificate of your spouse.
♥ And if you have changed your name for any other reason, documentation should be included in your paperwork.
♥ You may need to have your paperwork translated beforehand by a certified translator.
You MUST remember to bring all the original forms and documents with you!
